The administration and financial management of grants requires a thorough knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations (including the NEW OMB Super Circular), and the administrative procedures required by the NEW Circular. First, this seminar will provide an understanding of the legal nature of grants, and also rules for interpretation of grants and the potential liabilities associated with grants. Information discussed includes the grants application process, administrative requirements, management system requirements under the NEW law and performance based management.
