This seminar is designed to address these needs. The training will give an overview of the legislation, discuss what IHS is currently doing in regards to HIPAA, who is affected by HIPAA, the compliance deadlines and penalties, building initial organizational awareness of HIPAA, preparing impact analysis and action plans, myths and facts about HIPAA Privacy Regulations, and other topics that include areas for continuing help and guidance. This seminar is for all Healthcare Program compliance officers, managers, and staff, as well as HR personnel.
