In May 1995, the Office of Management and Budget issued cost standards for state, local and Tribal governments. The standards were finalized and in effect September 1, 1995. These standards were revised in May 2004, then relocated and reissued as 2 CFR 225 in August 2005. Now, since December 2014, the NEW Super Circular (2 CFR 200) replaces all of the above. These NEW cost standards are being used by the funding agencies in the review and analysis of program proposals, indirect cost proposals, and audits. This seminar analyzes the NEW cost standards, and provides guidance on how a Tribal organization can establish a financial system which meets the NEW standards. This seminar is for all financial management staff and program directors.
