Tribal staff involved in the “cuff” (single entry) accounting or bookkeeping process must understand their roles and duties in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and other procedures.  This course introduces general bookkeeping fundamentals to assist the individual in understanding what is required to document all phases of the financial record keeping system.  This course is designed as a beginning level bookkeeping training, specifically for all staff with little or no accounting and bookkeeping experience.

Books of entry
Structuring and maintaining cuff accounts
Bank reconciliation process
Budget reconciliation with cuff accounts
Budget comparison analysis
