The NEW OMB Super Circular – 2 CFR 200 and ‘ 638 law and regulations require development and audit of Tribal management systems. The need to efficiently utilize the scarce resources available requires that Tribal leadership enforce specific management procedures. These procedures systematize Tribal operations in key functional areas. This seminar provides information on the NEW requirements which are imposed on the Tribe and also identifies the desired elements which each operation should possess. Each of the systems is described in detail and guidance is given on the implementation of each procedure. The seminar will provide illustrations and analysis of the various procedures such as finance, purchasing, property, internal controls, personnel, records, and travel management.
